Oh, are you one of **them**??
When I was one fo the London COmputer Staffs branch of MSF (as it then was) we heard all about the goings-on from a couple of brand new members who'd been sufficiently inspired by New Management to join up, try to start a workplace group and get busy.
Well done on getting back toyour roots.
Getting back on topic - I've now had an email from Shreeti and a letter (on paper) from Jim of supplies saying I should be getting a refund for the batch of soft lenses I paid for and was later told I didn't need to have done.
I am still waiting in hope rather than holding my breath.
It does sound like to pays to ask and never hurts to express one's dissatisfaction (politely, of course!) with being messed about.
Meanwhile, the MP I wrote to about this has not so far done anything (it seems) and hasn't even replied to me. I suppose it is too much to hope that an East London labour MP would ever pull out a finger to help a constituent who's been heard asking "Olympic-sceptic" questions at a public meeting!
