Ummmmmmmmmm....

Turning back to the new ST film.... No No NO!! For axample no-one here has mentioned the newest ST venture Enterprise... which is also back in time. It doesn't work in the way that the new Star War Films don't mesh with the originals because of advances in film technology. You get discrepancies that just grate on the nerves!

Sooo....Spock and Jim revisited? It simply is not going to work. Everything has moved on since then.

Dr Who is so different now and we Brits are so traditionalist, that if we can adapt to a new doc....the rest of the world can adapt to a new ST.

I think a good film would draw from characters from TNG, DS9 and Voyager and move forward. Going back to the originals is self defeating.

As for B5 .... well that was so much based on Lord of the Rings...but thats another story....

Sweet,

Well done for sitting through a Doctor Who episode... shame it didn't enthrall you. The episodes written by the head honcho (Russell T. Davies) always seem to be the weaker ones, and next week's isn't, so that may be better. But then... you're working, so you'll miss it anyway!

Oh well never mind... at least you can dip in to Doctor Who!

Sweet

Do not worry if you can't see Dr Who next week; I shall sit through it for you. No, I know you are going to object that this is too much to ask, but I am prepared to do this thing for you.

I think it may even be possible to recruit some more willing volunteers from the members of the forum, so that the BBC may not even notice the dip in ratings caused by your being unable to watch the return of K9.

Or you could wait ten minutes and the BBC will market the DVD

Last time they had started selling the early episodes before the last ones had been broadcast.
