Or you could just tell us or write to our GP so that we knew what solution to get? We are very intelligent people!! LOL!! I think that a three month supply sounds pretty good, would save all those trips to get them monthly! And vouchers sounds like a good idea, altohugh i can see other people needing lenses with other conditions wanting to get involved as well.

Hmmm i think the best bet would be that the solutions come frm the Eye Clinics..just subsidised.....I really cant see them being given away free to be honest......

Hmm Jay.... do you really want to queue up at hospital clinics for solutions? This is also a waste of hospital resources when PCT's are trying to place more work outside hospitals...

The ophthalmologist is going to have to issue the original authorisation but after that the patient should be free to get his solutions where it is most convenient.

Well.... attractive as that might seem, most online outlets or supermarkets are not geared up to handle NHS vouchers. I presume there would have to be some sort of presentation of proof of being KC, although presumably this could be faxed.

As the Govnt is very concerned about fraud, they will want a tight rein on this to prevent widespread claiming to be KC to get reduced price solutions
