Hi

Just an update on the ulcer situation. All is now fine. I'm still using the antibioic drops as advised to stop any infection, but the pain went pretty quickly and by eh weekend I was able to wear my lens once again (thank god as I had split so many drinks/walked into things!).

Although it was painful I think the most upsetting is realising that without the lenses you cannot function and are pretty helpless. It is so frustrating not to be able to see properly & to work. Feel slightly stupid for crying on the office manager on thursday, although she was very sweet about it!

x

Hehe Gareth pink is THE colour!! I was never wrong on that one! LMAO!

Emma am really sorry for where you are, sometimes it just takes a while for things to even out. Did you leave your lens out for a while and slowly build the time back up? I normally don't build up wearing time being too excited to be able to put them back in and see! But lately i have had so many problems that for once i am going to be good and take it easy adding the time by two hours a day.

Maybe you just need a few more days without it and slowly start again. Rest is very important with eyes and wearing lenses although most of us here openly admit to being dam inpatient, myself included!!

Take it easy and best of luck with it, Sweet X x X

Emma

Is there no way in which you can change your computer screen to give you bigger images and text?

I use a mac and everything is wonderfully simple. I know that wondows is a whole different ball game but I am sure that John has posted in the past that it is possible to change the resolution of the display.

Well done Emma

Empowerment means liberation! (You can tell I was a teenager in the '60's) :D
