Hehe Andrew thanks for that!

You know i would rather think i'm unimportant than be someone obsessed with being important and arrogant enough to think they are!

XXXIII

Full many a glorious morning have I seen
Flatter the mountain tops with sovereign eye,
Kissing with golden face the meadows green,
Gilding pale streams with heavenly alchemy;
Anon permit the basest clouds to ride
With ugly rack on his celestial face,
And from the forlorn world his visage hide,
Stealing unseen to west with this disgrace:
Even so my sun one early morn did shine,
With all triumphant splendour on my brow;
But out, alack, he was but one hour mine,
The region cloud hath mask'd him from me now.
Yet him for this my love no whit disdaineth;
Suns of the world may stain when heaven's sun staineth.

The same sun shines on greatest and on least. We are all improtant under the sun!

Knight gets on my case because I still listen to programmes in the wireless. Now it appears that the rest of the world is just now catching up with me!

Hi Sweet

sorry about your current lens wear situation, it's rubbish isn't it?

Quite funny about the packet of ham though as I had lots of moments like that last year when I was in a similar lens position. Why do they make the packets so hard to get into??? Even my little one who can get into any kind of chocolate or sweet packet couldn't get in. Ham packers should rethink their packing, after all we are supposed to eat the stuff!

best wishes

Susan
don't let the people that mean nothing to you get you down, because in the end they are worth nothing to you, they are just your obstacles in life to trip you up!

Our Deepest Fear

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?"
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

By Marianne Williamson, from A Return to Love
Often misquoted as if by Nelson Mandela
in his 1994 Inaugural Speach
