Is it possible to challenge the original author of this letter and query what he said?
It is always possible for doctors, even hospital consultants, to make mistakes.
I once had a letter from Moorfields, talking about my visiona nd tolerance times with my corneal lenses.
I've never worn corneal lenses in my life!
I sent the letter back with a "shure shome mishtake?" type response. It turned out he'd been reading the wrong person's notes.
Grrrr.

Good idea John
I am a little alarmed at the possibility of continued use of steroids actually causing Glaucoma. I have been on prednisolone drops (pred forte) ever since I stopped dexamethasone drops. so I have been using steroid drops now for two and a quarter years.
could you keep us in touch with how things are going?
[By the way, my thanks to Knight for the excellent sig icon]
