Janet,

Need to be careful doing things at traffic lights!

Heard on the radio that people have been fined for having a quick drink of water while stationary at traffic lights and also for eating an apple while driving!!!!

Yet it is still allowed to have a cigarrette while driving!

The Police up here had a little campaign to stop people eating sweets when in the car alone. evidently it takes your attention from the road if you have to fiddle with a wrapper

A friend of mine was pulled over by an unmarked car when he reaced over and took a toffee from a bag in the passenger seat. He had always thought that you were supposed to take on sugar when you got weary at the wheel.

Long and the short of it is you ought, as Gareth says, to be careful about what you do while you are at the wheel of a car; stopped at lights or when you are driving.

Police never stopped my and my friend whilst we drove on a motorbike with a 4ft Wile Coyote between us, and he didn't have a helmet on...

Sometimes it would be hard for the poor policeman to know what to write in his little book.

"Well, m'lud, I was proceeding along the high street when I noticed that two persons were sharing a moror cycle on the public highway with a a four foot Wile E Coyote. No, m'lud, I did not see Road Runner, or I'd certainly have recorded the speed at which he was travelling."

Which of you was at the business end of the morotcycle, and which on the back seat. I guess the one on the pillion had to hang on both to the bike and the model

Wile E was between me and the driver, I was at the back holding onto both of them. It made my grandmothers day!

It seems you can do anything on a mororcycle, so long as you don't try to pop in some eye drops while you are stopped at lights :D
