this is all bad. So much for the governments law about disabled people. I 100% class KC as a disability! And i would have thought the government should know better! Write to downing street, i have done before. And i did actually get a personal reply from Mrs Blaire! Tell your local MP and hit the PRESS! The press will love the story and you get the chance to tell your story of how you are being forced out of work, and show the department up for what they really are.

Besides if i was being treated like that i would WALK!

Keep us updated! Jay

Kathy

there is much in J-B's message with which I agree. I'm not sure that I'd walk. Was it Shopenhower who said never give them what they want?

There is also the case that if you walk, how easy will it to get re-employed!

Even if your current employers are trying to force you out the money is still coming in.

Kathy

What ever you do; please do NOT walk!...You will surrender all your rights, and will not be in a strong position to take matters further; should you wish to!

If you can, hang in there!....but I do understand how hard this must be, as does everyone else!

At first I felt like walking but I have been through too much to give them the satisfaction!!! I will stick at it and hopefully after the intacs and I am back at work I will make sure everything is in place that should have been after my first meeting with the RNIB nearly 4 years ago. I've been through too much now to give in.

One day to go! I go in tomorrow for my intacs, my surgeon is doing both eyes at the same time (and its cheaper!)

Very nervous now but fingers crossed.

I'll keep you all updated on my progress.
