Actually five eyes may be a distinction on this site, but I'm looking forward to having ust the two!

I would suspect that as you post more you get a better VA as that would indicate you have a better understanding of KC.....and thus (seeing more clearly) clearer visibility of the whole condition?

KC is about facing the challenges it creates rather than accepting the problems it generates -

Just to add.......I agree with some of the previous comments made. I would not rely heavily on antibacterials and antibiotics unless neccassary, as after a while your immune system will find it more difficult to fight of infections.
However, for the first few weeks post op I would always wash my hands with warm water and soap or handwash, before putting in eyedrops. This is because I would gently press the nasal corner of my eye (punctum) to prevent the eye drops draining into the lacrimal gland, as I hated the taste of steroid eye drops!!! I have never intentionally touched the surface of the grafted eye or the underside of the eye lids for obvious reasons.
And, I still try not to allow water anywhere near my grafted eye, I sometimes wear swimming goggles when washing my hair in the shower. I usually keep them closed but water still gets into the eye but I'm sure a little tap water will not cause detrimental effects.

I am a little behind on reading (and also a little fed up, long story, the saga continues) however, I quite liked Gareth's post from the 27th and will think fondly now about the idea of sitting under the desk and being rescued by the firebrigade!
Especially since I have spent a fair portion of my time at work under the desk rebooting the silly computer!!!

don't let the people that mean nothing to you get you down, because in the end they are worth nothing to you, they are just your obstacles in life to trip you up!
