Neither would I, but then again, I would probably not before the graft either - it's just that my resolve has strengthend.

It really is a matter of personal choice, some people are risk lovers, others are risk averse. As long as the consultant is aware and that advice is taken on board, I don't have a problem in that area.

thanks everyone for your advice, i know im going to have to think long and hard about the bunjee jump. As much as i would love to do it can i really take the risk? I may just have to watch my friend do it on her own!
Ive always got snowboarding to look forward to.

Louise,

Sky diving is only dangerous if something goes wrong. by an large you pack your own parachute, you are not allowed to 'freefall' until you have proven your ability to remember to pull the cord, you are not subject to any excessive forces but you are probably best to wear goggles if you have an eye problem.

Once your canopy has been deployed you sit in the wind and drift to the ground as you steer yourself towards the drop zone.

If there was a sky diving race between patients with KC and others with no eye condition, which side would win?

The people with KC. The people with healthy eyes would stop twice on the way down to ask for directions!
