That's great, love it!!!! especially the the trekkie character. I used to have some cat woman glasses and another pair with eyes on springs. Definately wacky glasses would be the dress code for the party!

John, if you think Geordie and his clip-on head band is bad, you should see the Borg and their occular implants! Would be cool with me, I've disco danced with a Klingon and they have cornish pasties for a forehead!

You would definitely HAVE to turn up in a catwoman suit as well then, and be selected Miss Graftee 2006 ;)

Ms Graftee I like it! I don't have the suit to match the glasses, but I do have the full trek cossie. Reckon Ken in contact lens at Moorfields should be the judge of a graft beauty contest. The picture of yours was great, you could be a strong contender for Mr Graftee 2006.

Full graft and say goodbye to lenses, glasses and other forms of sight correction is achievable.

Three years post op, I managed a whole five years relying purely on the grafts and was just off 6/6 vision!!!!!!

Went six years with glasses of a mild prescription as I started to go short sighted at an age most others in my familly started to go short sighted. The past two years with contacts. However that is due to an extremely rare change in the cornea the graft is attached to in the right eye.

We all need a dream to aim for Per. Good luck.

Left was 10 last October, Right, 9 last August. I went nearly 10 years with close to 6/6 uncorrected with a number of refractive and astigmatic keratotomys to enhance my right eyes vision. Now I wear glasses, 6/6 and really happy. just could not handle another surgery. My theory is my Right eye is still active (anyone else use volcano analogys) and in a growth phase this is why it keeps going out of focus, and if I let it get to its limit then the surgery will last longer.
The Left eye is 6/6 uncorrected (well until i got glasses anyway and still a virgin graft.
