Hello Emma, and many congratulations on your results. You've now got something to celebrate up in Newcastle.

Just remember to take a coat, I don't think they sell them up there  at least, not judging by the local lads and lasses wearing T-shirts at 1am in winter!

Last time I was in Newcastle, to say the lasses were wearing string would be being very generous to the amount of closting they had on. This is during the day in the high street, I felt a bit of a wimp, think coming south as softend me up again.

Well done Emma, but next time take the lens out and get help. Remember getting a 2:2 is better than a 2:1 with no vision to make use of it. Get the lens out next time and explain the situation, the examiners will have just as much respect if not more for you at the end.

Thats the telling off over :D

Now go and celebrate in the bar at 2p a pint :D

hehe...pieces of string? they're not that short! I came down the stairs the other week after getting ready for a night out in town and my dad handed me money - to buy the rest of my skirt! lol!

I'm hoping the flights not delayed - its really really foggy here in good old Belfast! Hitting Newcastle Uni 2mro nite! At the moment i'm struggling to get my clothes into my PINK suitcase! they won't all fit!

Sweet, i'm thinking of teaching or social work - i'm not actually 2 sure at the moment - i've always wanted to study midwifrey so i still might head 4 that after this degree - i'm not ready to hit the real world of work at the moment! I wanna stay a student forever!

Emma :D

Midwifery is hard to get into so i am told but you will get paid more than nurses on qualifying as you will start off as an E grade and not a D which nurses do. This makes about an extra £1000-2000 depending on where you live!

Social work is another good career, i have three friends who work in it. Two with abuxed children and one with disabled people and they all really enjoy it. If i didn't nurse i'm sure that i would have drifted that way as well! But as i fall into the cliche and have always wanted to nurse since i was three i headed for that instead!

Having a pink suitcase i can well understand, as being a pink fairy everything in my room is pink and purple! It is indeed a state of mind although i think that my brother in law is going to be happy that i am moving on, as suddenly the bathroom seemed to have adopted two pink rubber ducks hehe, not sure how the hell they got there!! LMAO!!! But as all my towels are indeed pink maybe the bread crumbs led back to me!
