Chris,

thanks for looking, but they have since found the paperwork!

Good luck with the stress test, I can visualise it now:

nurse "so is there anything you feel stressed about"
you "yes this stress test"

:-)

Hope things get sorted out for you though as you really don't need the mucking about now.

Good luck

Paul

Chris,

Get a copy of the Alice Cooper song 'Nurse Rosetta'. If the nurse you get is like the one in the song, that would expaling a dodgy ECG from any bloke.

Classic lines like

Nurse Rosetta,don't you letter her
catch me peering down her sweater

Suddenly I'm XXXXX XX XXXX
My pants XXX XXX XXX XXXXXX

Had to use the crosses as not to offend anyone. It is more a Micky take of how men behave around nurses despite some of the other sexist lyrics.

Sweet, I bet if you heard the song, you would say it sums up most ment that come to A&E.

Update:

Postby Paul Osborne » Thu 19 Jan 2006 8:15 pm

Well being the nosey person that I am, I decided to phone the K&C to ensure that any Christmas parties had not helped lose the paperwork.

Any I am second on the list (hurrah) and the person in front of me is going to be done on the 9th March.

So apparently they (the K&C) will check with the consultant as to his availability after the 9th March and get me a cornea ordered from the eye banks.

They seem to think that as long as there is a suitable cornea available and the consultant isn't sunning himself that I should be done before the end of March.

Wahey! (Keith Chegwin).

Paul, that's fantastic news!

Well done.

As to Alice Cooper, I was sorting through my old vinyl the other day and came across that very album. Those were the days, music was music, bands had talent ...
