Well, getting this topic back to the original point :D

I've just been back to see my optician about these new specs. They have agreed that the specs cannot be correct if I get best vision with them balanced precariously on my nose tip.

This is ignoring the fact that my vision seems to change from hour to hour!

Anyway, I'm back to see them tomorrow morning for another refraction. Let's see how this one comes out!

John you have really been through the mill here, and I am sorry that you are still struggling to find a prescription that will give good sight.

all the best with your refraction.

Yours aye

Good luck with the refraction. Just a thought, is it possible to get a couple of pairs of glasses with slightly different prescriptions to try to accommodate the fluctuations in the sight? Other thought is at my last post op check this month the doctor said that the grafted piece itself can get dry and to use drops like Opti Tears to keep the eye moist. Perhaps yours is drying out a bit and that's why the vision is going foggy? Glad you're enjoying Harry Potter, listening to Parkinson is good too, otherwise I find listening to TV programmes frustrating. Rosemary, I've read the book - I'm especially interested as I teach a lot of autistic children at RDA. They take everything so literally you have to be so careful what you say in addition to being very careful about eye contact. Well done with the bell ringing too. Thinking of you, John. Tubs :)
