Ok thanks for educating me Per, unfortunately my husband Andy has never got as far as being able to try any kind of lens on any of his graphts on his left eye, he has only warn the small and then a Scleral lens on the ungraphted right eye, which is the one that he lost any sight he did have a few weeks ago (because of Hydrops). So now he has no sight in either eye.
He did try today to put his scleral lens in and regreted it as he said "it hurt like hell and he couldn't see anything with it in anyway". So now we just have to wait for a donar, in the past we have had to wait a few months up to 18 months and this time they are doing a blood match, although they have said that there is no proof that this will make any difference.

Hallo Nessa and Andy,
SOrry to hear about the vision problems, and a hydrops to top it all off!
I hope the hydrops, at least, will heal over and the sight clear again. It sounds nasty, but they can clear again. HOw long ago was it?
Rosemary
