How to ... cut a pineapple!!!

Well, I have never been let down by this simple test. Mind you I have never cut into a pineapple that did not yield its leaf, so maybe they were all ripe, too.

Sll I know is that when the leaf comes away and I have cut the fruit it has been absolutely yummy

Hehe yea!

Anyone got any other nice fruit that they would like to share here! I love trying new things, and fruit is lovely! :lol: 8) Will be buying another pineapple soon as after eating half of the last one i nicely gave my flatmates the rest as they commented on how nice it smelt in the fridge!!! :wink: :lol:

Flaw in the Pawpaw!

Or one of these American persimmon, the native heartberry, the maypop, the medlar and then there is the beach plum :D

Hope the last one is not related to a Beach Bum :oops:

Hhmm don't think i have tried them!

Pawpaw were very different, came wrapped in little leaves and slightly bitter, so haven't tried them since. Papaya though and mango i really love and could quite happily live on just those!! LOL!!

Oh ... and pineapple obviously! :wink:

you havent tried them!....well if you havent tried Lychees then you havent tried proper fruit!!...
