Firstly, thank you Lynn for your post, cls and cxl are different indeed.
Rosemary, you are right, I am sure that this percentage is different from country to country as well as the percentage of incidence of KC, what I wanted to show is that there are some statistics in general.
Andrew, just like Pepe said, this was the epi-off method and was only performed this way because of the fast healing it offers. Doctors argue about its efficacy. I am not crazy, I know that no treatment is 100% effective, that is the same with cxl. On the contrary I am trying to find any papers or bad experiences, I am sure cxl-club will help a lot. If anybody has read sth, I would be very interested to read about.
Something last, the difference with grafts is that cxl does not restore vision, just helps it from getting worse (--> vs time again)
I hope everything goes well for all of us (independent of cxl).

Which treatment are you talking about once diagnoses you get through the NHS ? (Intacs/transplants ain't tried before contact lenses nor is CXL on the NHS, so what is this treatment ?)
