This was the fourth year we have entered a KC team to this event. It was very kind of Moorfields to add an extra mile to the previous 14 but we managed it with smiles on our faces. The first time we entered in 2018 there was ice floating on the Regents Canal. This year while crossing the millennium bridge we spotted a resident in her bikini sunbathing on a balcony. The weather was glorious. As you can see we had a coffee stop at a converted phone box near Borough Market.
The route wound through the iconic sights of the city both old and new then headed off to Limehouse in the east end. Following the Regent Canal back to City Road. There was a detour around Victoria Park.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and we hope more of our members will join us next year
Look out for the date.
