Moorfields Biomedical Research Centre is hosting a Keratoconus Day on Saturday 27th November 10.30 – 15.30 in the Jeremy Bentham Room at University College London, Wilkins Building, WC1E 6HJ
At this event Professor Larkin will present the results to the young people who took part in the Keralink trial and to their parents. The trial studied the safety and effectiveness of corneal crosslinking (CXL) in young people aged 10 to 16, which is so important for the future treatment of KC.
Session 1: KERALINK results
Session 2: Follow on Studies
Session 3: Future research and patient priorities
Session 4: What is happening in Adult keratoconus research?
KC Group members are invited to attend the day.
The event is free, but booking is essential. Click here to register
This is not only an opportunity to hear from the experts but for the experts to hear from those directly affected by the condition. Prof. Larkin and his team welcome feedback from our members to help them determine the direction of future research. If you cannot attend on the day, but would like to contribute your views on the priorities of keratoconus research, do e-mail them to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will pass them on.
