Hi
I am just writing as I have been writing a blog about my own Keratoconus experiences and I wondered if it might be of use to anyone. I have only had it for 4 years but it has been a very eventful time, and I thought it might prove useful.

Many thanks, Alex. A question - did you have your crosslinking done on the NHS or did you pay privately?

Re: My Blog of my experiences
Hi Alex,
I've just read through your blog and it was very interesting. Especially the bit about hit and miss consultations. I've had some experience of that. 90% of the time you get a great person (Big thumbs up here to Birmingham Midland Eye hosp here!) but there are occasions where you great really dodgey/uncaring/overly rushed people and it does stress you out somewhat.
The two worst cases was a follow up at an Eye hospital where I don't think the person I saw could have cared either way if I was there or not and the other one was when I paid for a private consultant years ago and lets just say it wasn't worth the money!
Anyway good luck with your new lenses. I'm just about to get a new on myself and have high hopes for it!
Cheers
Chris
