wow replies!

Postby Helen Turner » Tue 26 Jul 2005 8:04 am

Wasn't expecting any replies to be honest so all are welcome. Just putting the feelers out for any other keratoconics in this area as the conferences and such like are usually too far for me to get to. Work commitments etc. Would be good to build up a few contacts(pardon the pun). Nice to hear from you. Keep 'em coming.

I used to live in Yorkshire and my friends say I am an adopted Yorkshireman.

Would that count even though I am now in the Midlands?

support group...brilliant!

Definately interested in setting up a support group. I find the hospitals not too bad - see my other posting on your 'new to this site' posting. I'm based in East Yorkshire and have had pretty good support but i put that down to a few members of staff than a whole organisation. Food for thought.

KC in Yorkshire

Postby Rowan Whymant » Fri 27 Jan 2006 7:54 pm

Yep.Too right. Its never dull in Hull. Gutted i don't live there! Hope i aint offended anyone.

On a more serious note, I live near Beverley, name is Rowan and have recently been recommended a partial corneal graft by the eye surgeon at Hull Royal Infirmary.

Would like to talk to someone about it Hope somebody can help?
