Hello,
New to the forum, apologies if this topic has been covered elsewhere.
Living with KC for 10 years now, had CXL+PRK done about 7yrs ago in South Africa. Steadily, my vision has been on the downward since my post-op 22/20 (sad face). However, over the past 2 weeks, the decline has been rather significant, to the point where my corrective glasses don't seem to cut it.
The question is, do I first go to an Optician for a check-up and perhaps spec new glasses, or should I go to an Ophthalmologist for new scans?
If the answer is to an Optician > I am looking for a new Optician in the central London area. I have seen there is a list of recommendations on this website; however - if someone has direct positive exp with someone, please do say so below - that would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

I think the first place you should go is to an optician for an eye test. You could probably get an appointment in a day or so. They would test your eyesight and hopefully be able to prescribe you with a new pair of glasses. When you book the appointment it would be worth mentioning that you have KC so that they allow additional time to test your eyes. If they see any problems that they think need addressing by an ophthalmologist or specialist optometrist they could refer you to a hospital.
