Just to answer a question that was asked earlier I was diagnosed with KC after the Argentina vs England match in the 2002 World Cup so I went from a high that England won to a big time low, the optician really didn't put me at ease either and came across like he was diagnosing me with cancer or something. :(

I haven't gone near an optician or been to my eye hospital appointment to see a specialist since then. I dont want to go in to the reasons why.

I'm gonna leave this as my final post on the forum. Thank you to all those who treated me with respect and for all the information! :D

Take care.

Reality

If you do read this, even if you do not post further on the forum, please do get yourself referred back to the hospital. Your KC may be stable for a long time and then deteriorate.

Being "in the system" is a lot better than having to storm the bastions of the NHS when there is a crisis.

All the best

Exactly mate, everyone chill out and if you're offended by what the geezer says,or what is said by anyone else for that matter, then dont continue reading the thread.

Censorship should be reserved for the EXTREME only.

Did i give up on this post?? I didn't believe in it from the start and believe me i hear much more than this in work!

I think as said here earlier if this was genuine and he wanted some answers that he could have been as open about his identity as his sex life. If he isn't that open then it comes to mind why didn't he come here and post a bit to settle in before shouting about this?

A lot of people find it hard to post first time even with their story, so to come here and post about their sex life tells me that this is a wind up. Am sorry if i upset anyone but it seems that some here are more taken in. To say that two posters have suddenly come here and talked about masterbating but oh of course they have a different IP number says NOTHING! We can all find a cyber cafe! Please we need some credit here!!

Yes this topic brought in a lot of views because i think a lot were shocked to read about it and people playing martyr but if Reality has now gone can we please let this post go with him as nothing has changed. There is still NO evidence on this so we are going around in circles and i am more than sure that no-one in their right mind would be looking to fund this!!

Sweet (amongst others)said..... well, lots really...

And I've found from experience that one of the approaches that winds up wind-up merchants the most is to decline to get wound up about their wind-ups, but to take them at face value and treat them to a serious dissertation on their original point.
If they're actually for-real after all, it's what they wanted and if not, they'll likely get bored and fed up and go away.
Next time a friend - or better, a "friend" - tells you a joke, start a serious discussion about its subject matter and an analysis of what may or may not make it humourous, and you'll see *just* what I mean!

am probably going to be the one to have this topic closed down, but here goes.

I have two sons with autism - nothing to do with KC, although one of them also has KC. If I told either of my two sons that masturbating would make them go blind or effect their sight then they would take that in a very literal way and it would take some shiffting. My youngest would probably still be asking me questions about it in the year 3000. If the answer given does not give a satisfactory answer that he can understand then the questions will continue. I once told the youngest he was on fire and he begged me not to call 999.

My two sons with autism can also be 'in your face' and ' in your space' especially when they are wound up about something. They however do not see that they are doing this. They obsesse about things that worry them and find 1001 ways to bring the topic of their obsession onto the menu for discussion.

I am not trying to diagnose anyone here but sometimes things are not always what they appear to be.
