sorry for the late response

Hi guys - sorry for not being up to date. I've got a hell of a lot on and being in the UK while Ehsan is in Egypt ... anyway we wont go there.

Ehsan's intac

In the night, he spoke of seeing a 'ring of light' around his vision when he saw light objects eg headlights and light bulbs etc.
He went back to the Dr and the Dr said the intac surgery may need to be re-done!!

This Tuesday he went into hospital but to have one semi-circle removed of the intac and the other semi-circle was repositioned.

This procedure was not painful at all (or so he said) and Ehsan says that his vision is much better however there is a very tiny form of 'ring of light' problem which again he has been told should hopefully go away while the eye works around it. Which fingers crossed will otherwise he's going to have to have the full intac operation again. !!!

so we're keeping our fingers crossed please. Hope ypu are all well and smiling.

ring of light

Postby Ehsan » Fri 16 Mar 2007 4:45 pm

Hey there;

Just spoke to my husband and he has advised that the ring of light appears to have gone today. Hopefully this shall now be the case.

His sight has improved only very slightly but I suppose the main thing was to stablise the KC. He's off to the Dr this Wed to see if he can see clearly with glasses/soft contact lenses and then shall take it from there.

intacs did not work

Postby Ehsan » Mon 26 Mar 2007 11:33 pm

Hey there;

I just got news from my husband today. Unfortunately the intacs have been declared dudd for him. He's been advised to have the corneal graft which he is hoping to have done after the birth of our child which will be after April. He is going to go ahead with the graft in his right eye and may try intacs in his left eye before he comes to England.

Sorry if i'm becoming a little slow in keepign you informed. Not long for baby to be born now. It's a little hard to sit and type on desk.

Hope you all are well ... Ahfia xx
