Sorry Lynn - I have had a breakage whilst my lens RGP lens has been in - alas it was to nothing as traumatic as a flying fist - nope was a flying elastic band!!!!!! I was pulling an eleastic band around a set of notes on a hospital ward and PING!!!!! it snapped and hit my right eye slap bang on my RGP. It smashed and I said "OUUUUUUUCH" and caught the attention of the Sister on the ward. She grabbed some distilled water (or something similar) yanked my head back and drowned my eye (and the rest of me in water). Thank god she did as the lens had broken and if it wasn't for her quick thinking a few more scratches may of occurred. Came away from Ophthalmology with an eye patch and a few minor scratches on my eye - but could have been alot worse!!!!!!!!

I felt that! Well, I didn't , but when I read it my toes curled at the thought!
