Now I have all my competition dates that arrived while I was on Holiday, will have to see if I can make the social. The following week I may well be competing in Cumbria which means preparing the car the weekend before and through most of the evening upto the event. Will have to travel on the Saturday to clean a bulk of the roadmuck off in the hotel car park!

Wish I could race, that was far easier.

So John, any idea how many of us are coming on Sunday?
For anybody still thinking about coming, please do.
The more the merrier and I know some of the forum stalwarts will be there to keep us all entertained and indeed pearls of wisdom will undoubtedly be uttered to boot.

I will try and make it on Sunday as my graft in left eye is getting better all the time. Sunday will be 23 days post graft.
Pat.

Sorry i will not be at the social.
My girls have their dance exams and i forgot!!

Anthony said he would take them, but i am only confident to get to Liverpool Street. So i guess it was not meant to be.

Have a large white wine for me :D

Well, by my counts, we could have eleven people there on Sunday. A new record!

Hint to whoever arrives first - fins a big table :).

Just one piece of important travel news though... the tube is up the creek this weekend. Affecting us could be:
  • No Northern (Charing X branch): at all.
  • No Metropolitan: Aldgate to Wembley Park
  • No Circle: Edgware Road to Liverpool Street (though will be running from Liverpool St. to Blackfriars)
  • No Hammersmith & City: Barking to Edgware Road

Phew!

Hope to see many of you on Sunday.
John

Unfortunatly I will not be there Image

The brown stuff has really hit the fan and gone everwhere ImageImage

I will starting work early and probably doing a 12 hour shift at the very least.

All because there is a small group of us that care about product quality and the patient so when it does go on sale, it is the best we can do with the current technology.Image

Looks like Micahel will be substituting my alcohole free drink and having an alcholic one for me Image

Sweet, I will try even hard on the next one and get you that drink I owe youImage

As you can see, I am trying to console my self the Andrew way through the power of smilies ImageImageImageImageImage

Oh no, no Northern Line!

I'll look at the alternatives but if it is too much hassle, I may not make it

I am not a happy bunny after having given up my Arsenal ticket on avery special day; the last match at Highbury.

I'll let you know if I can make it now John.

Michael, it's only the bit via Charing Cross that's off. The pub is close to Blackfriars and Southwark tubes, and is walkable (about 20 mins) from London Bridge Northern!
