Hehe that is a nice story! My twin sister has a lovely consultant and i have been thinking of going back to see him as i was his patient a few years back.

He is under the belief that you shouldn't pay for lenses if you have KC as it isn't for vanity purposes and so has never charged her for one. They provide lenses at the hospital and i did get a couple free until i moved and had to switch hospitals as it was too far away. We are talking over 200 miles sadly so a little too far for a check up!

You see some nice people do really exist you just need to find one! Although i can't complain about many of my optometrists, yes i've had way over twenty now as i move so much, but about half of those were really caring and did understand how dam hard it is. I have been asked to drop in and see my old optometrist next week as he's wondering how i'm getting on. Very sweet as i've been in London now for nearly two years hehe!
