Hi everyone,

Apologies for the lack of updates with regards to my graft and the blog. Everything continues to go completely smoothly with my right eye (the eye I had the graft in), and I also recently had Corneal Collagen Cross-Linking on my left eye because it turned out the KC had started to progress. Hi Steve - your blog is just brilliant! I had my graft in October 2010 and boy could I have done with a blog like this before, during and after. The parallels between thoughts, anxieties and experiences are amazing - it's a fine line between "unique" & isolated - your blog will hopefully stop the latter. I am chuffed it has gone so well for you and whilst I have developed an "agressive" cataract in the grafted eye (which needs surgery soon)and have just undergone "accurate keratotomy" or spelling to that effect due to misshapen graft like Edith Piaff and you "Je me regrette riens" or something to that effect.

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd post a link to my blog on KC, which I've just updated for the first time in 16 months(!). To update those who haven't read it before, I had a DALK corneal graft in August 2011 and Cross Linking in February 2012. The blog covers my experiences of both procedures and the recent post details everything that's happened in the last year or so.
