LOL me neither mate!!....especially now they have settled and regressed back onto the cornea.

The thought of something coming close to the eye and cutting...jeez i just know Ill flinch!...and so does my Consultant lol. Althought he has said that some never have any out at all and tbh if I can see 6/9 or 6/6 with glasses hell they can stay in!!

But clearly anything can change!!

Jay,

I got to the point with m grafts that I hit 6/6 once the eye settled, took about 6 - 9 months. The stitches were in for total of 18 months and no visual change after the eye recoverd from so many stitches out, only a day or so, so be patient.

My grafts were subjected to everything they should not have been. Racing with loads of vibration as I did Rallying at a semi-pro level and had my share of heavy impacvt crashes. The car stops quick but your oirgans try and push their way out of your body! A couple of times I thought my eyes would pop out my head! Worked down sewers and extremely dirty and dusty environments and never had an eye infection. Grafts are now the best bit of my eyes.

Wonder if the grafts would be accepted for further use?

Down on my donour card that they can be used too.

Gee i'd love to see 6/6 i'm really struggling at the minute with 6/36 had enough with everything.

Is really good to hear that you are doing well, nice to catch up with you! Keep having fun, he he rallying sounds great. Not that i would want to do it in my car though, it's way way too precious lol

Have to say i loved your signature made me laugh! :)

Continue to have good progress.Graft settling down nicely, pressure reading OK too.
Refraction test only showed marginal improvement so far, although doing the pinhole test I could see the whole chart.
No longer need to take Chloramphenicol, just the Maxidex.
So far so good.Next visit in 12 weeks time. :D
