Is it possible for sutures to 'catch' or rub the upper eyelid?

I think this the problem. It's causing me difficulties with the other eye with lens insertion because when one eye is in pain and not wanting to open as wide and is very reactive to anything it impacts on the other eye. Hence the lens endlessly going into the corner because I can't control my reflexes on insertion. I wish we could 'disconnect' eyes so switch one off whilst dealing with the other.
If it is the sutures causing discomfort (I'm still holding hope it isnt), then it means a year of discomfort. Could they not tell if it's the sutures?

if it is sutches rubbing they can remove n redo, prob best to go eye casualty n speak to a eye specialist n flag your concerns n explain the impact on day to day living and how that is impairing what you can do and the lack of quality of life it is giving you x

I'm very releived to report that the pain has eased up significantly, I can sneeze without feeling like there's a screwdriver in my socket. This is of some relief because it really scared me because I had no expectation of it. I do think though it's not right to discharge a patient in that much pain and blind (as I could not open the other eye) and where the taxi home hurt a lot. Ok, we don't need 3 days like we had in previous decades but I do think overnight is not unreasonable especially if you're in a lot of pain. Also because taking off the pad and removing any mucus relies on having enough sight in the other eye to do so which I didn't have without thr lens in and I just couldn't get the lens in initially. It's thrown my reflexes with that eye, it will take time to regain better control so it's still a bit screamy in the bathroom

And today it's back to uncomfortable bah! This is snakes & ladders. It's really uncomfortable again like grit but no hint of redness or decrease in visual acuity

How is the pain now? Please tell as I am planning for a graft too. If the pain is so extreme, then I will have to rethink.
