The KC self help and support group is said twice.......remve the smaller one.....and also on the left where is says "and works to" doesnt look right....

lol....all my opinion though..f it suits all then hey brill
KC is about facing the challenges it creates rather than accepting the problems it generates -

Hello

Nice work.

Jayuk said:-

How about changing the 'and' to 'It works to' or 'They work to'

I would also expect that the pricing information about the booklet is now out of date as the original was so old.

Anne should be able to provide you with up to date info on this. Hopefully then the committee can 'agree' your work and it can be displayed.

I certinly have never seen anything in my hospital relating to KC or the group. Maybe this is because it is provided in a format that is not suitable for clinic patients (often without lenses etc) or maybe it just is not there.

best wishes

Susan

Knight
Like the new design now the colours are more acceptable! But you obviously didn't spot that I asked John to update the price info for the booklet before I posted my message about a flyer. It now costs £2.
Sorry if this sounds ungrateful (it isn't!), but I do have a problem with the update to the logo and I think the rest of the committee would have too. The existing one is on all the literature we produce (KC booklet, the two conference reports, student leaflet and the new leaflet for employers which will be available soon). So it really should be the same on any new stuff that's produced. But apart from that, it's a great improvement on the existing flyer. Don't know what other committee members think?

Hello Knight,

Sorry for not replying sooner, I've been away for a few days.

Love the new poster - it really does stand out rather well, especially in the revised colours.

I'd certainly agree with Anne about the logo - we need to keep it consistent with everything else. I've no objection to you re-rendering it though - if the 3D look to the red sphere can go back to a flat disc (though the shadowing looks good...) I can send you the correct font if you need it too!

Anyway, it's late now. I'll probably post more tomorrow.
John

Hi Knight, Yep like it! Much easier to read and much clearer. Think it will stand out more once on the wall.

I agree with the two comments re a) KC Group etc is repeated and b) 'and works to' doesn't make sense as you read down the left-hand side of the poster.

A very big improvement on the original - keep up the good work!

Hello Knight and all

Are we going to be able to use the poster soon?

Are the committee going to be in a position to agree it?

If so then we could all try to get our local hospital/clinic to display it.

I am sure others with KC could benefit from the support group.

Oh dear. oh dear, oh dear!!!!!

I just cant see it!!!!!!!! LMAO!!!! Ok, i have a slight vision problem right now, hehe, so please excuse me!!!!

I have to say though that with as little vision as i have the red was bad, but is a lot better now, and black letters on yellow is much easier to read. Am having a little problem with white highlights around the letters but i think that is because i cant see too well! i think that with lenses in it would be great!

Hope to see it soon!!!

Hi Knight,
I think is a lot better, it is easier to read and easier on the eyes. I personaly can't see a problem with the self help group line being written twice because it would make no sense to have the title, an explanation of the conditition and then the aims of the group, it wouldn't read right. As for the 'work to', how about 'aims to' or 'the aims of'? I hope the commitee approve it. It would be nice to see it up in opticians and doctors' surgeries as well as hospitals.

Lesley.
Live long and Prosper.
