I send info about Scottish support group meetings by e-mail and have done for at least 10 years to save postage, and personal time printing and stuffing envelopes. There are a few people who I still send hard copies to, who don't have e-mail. I have found that e-mail addresses change frequently and people forget to tell me their new e-mail addresses. Some people use work addresses and when they change jobs I no longer have e-mail contact. Others don't check e-mail very often. As a result some people miss out on information regarding Scottish support groups.
Postal mail seems to reach more people. We do get a few post office returns, but not so many as returned e-mails.
No system is foolproof.

I really enjoy reading the paper version of the newsletter I receive through the letter box.

drink you are lucky that your KC enables you to read printed word in the format it is presented! not all of us have that luxary due to the severity of our keratoconus
May09 Diagnosed with KC, March 2010 after a failed transplant it has left me legally blind a long cane user (since 2010) who is blind in a once sighted world

I just wanted to add my thanks for the newsletters. I find it much easier to read the printed format than as an email on my iPad. I'll be taking my copy of the newsletter with me to the Royal Liverpool on Friday and will leave it in the waiting area for others to read.
Only Robinson Crusoe got everything done by Friday!!

I also appreciate the printed newsletter, makes a change from staring at a screen all day!
