10 months post graph -eye watering

Postby ruralrob » Sun 02 Dec 2012 1:34 pm

Hi Guys.
I had my full graph in my eye last December, and have been very lucky that so far everything has been ok .I have met my surgeon about 6 times since and he is very pleased how things are going .I have a fair amount of vision now, but for me the best thing has been losing the scar I had so my eye looks pretty normal now.
The question I have ,if anyone can help is over the last couple of weeks my eye is watering quite a bit .I am not due to see the surgeon again until March ,so thought I would give the hospital a ring to see if they felt I needed to bring the appointment forward due to my eye watering .The lady I spoke to seemed to think I probably just have 'dry eye' as she said the tear ducts aren’t as good once you have a graph .She said I can buy some eye drops for this over the counter at the chemist ,so can anyone recommend a particular type which will help .I have no pain ,redness or loss of vision so I don't think its the start of rejection ,but would like to stop this watering .

Many thanks in advance

Rob

Rob

Go back to see your ophthalmologist. Everything may well be okay, but your eye surgeon is the one to put your mind at rest.
