Yes things are pretty good just now thanks. I am seeing very well and seem to be getting my glucose levels back under control. Fortunately the 'health MoT' picked up the presence of too much sugar in my blood before I developed any symptoms.

sorry to hear this Andrew. I didn't appreciate this risk, although it's absorbed through the membrane I would have thought it was nothing like the systemic absorption through oral administration, it's a sobering thought..

Lou, thanks for your kind post. You are of course right; far less cortico-steroid is absorbed across the eye membrane than through the oral intestinal route. That said, we do medicate more frequently and over a far longer period than other users.
