Had my graft on 5 october

Postby been » Mon 12 Oct 2009 4:52 pm

Hi everyone

It's been a week since I had my graft - I still can't see very well and I am very light sensitive, But my Consultant, Mr Larkin of Moorfields Eye Hospital, said he was pleased so far and I have to go back and see him in another 10 days. I only took painkillers for the first 3 days and have not needed anymore since. I am wearing my eye shield all the time, because I am worried about knocking or rubbing my eye, but I will keep you informed of my progress. If there is anything I should be careful of please feel free to let me know.

Take care, Shabeena x

Shabeena

thank you for bringing us up to date. Don't be too impatient with your eyesight; it will improve when it improves.

All the best with your appointment.
