I as i understand it only if directly next of kin - siblings/parents etc. My nan has glaucoma my dad gets the eye test free but i dont.
Life is too short for drama & petty things!

NHS sight tests in England and Wales and NI get free eye tests OVER THE AGE OF 40 if there is glaucoma in the immediate family, including if your child has it but you don't. This is because incidence goes up once you get to the dreaded 40.

Scotland - all eye exams are on the NHS.

thats amazing , ireland is a disgrace they are thinking of cutting all ocular government cover now for eye test
