It's called an eye bag. It is a bag filled with some sort of seed or another. You put it into the microwave for 30 seconds and then lie with it across your eyes for five minutes. This is followed by massage for the eyelids. All very helpful and it promotes tear-flow onto dry eyes.

i have an eye gel mask that you put in the fridge does a good job or relieving tired eyes.. ive also today bought some Optrex Actimist spray , its not cheap at 15pounds for 10ml but it works some how even though you spray it on your eye lids!!!

ANdrew, is that like those pillow-sized, well, pillows, full of some variety of corn that you either microwave to make a "hot water bottle" or put inthe freeze to make an ice pack?
I've got a pillow-sized one; never heard of eye-sized versions, but what a good idea! Less messy than frozen peas, too!

PS: when I said in my earlier post "or supermarket own label" I meant supermarket own label washing up liquid (ie. own brand versions of Fairy liquid).

I use Miraflow for cleaning, Amo lens plus for rinsing and Amidose to fill my scleral lenses
