If the 3 wise men had been women..

If the 3 wise men had been women.....they would have asked for directions, brought practical gifts and a casserole, cleaned the stable, delivered the baby, AND there would have been world peace

:D

Actually in the Narrative of the Wise Men, we are never told how many there were; whether they travelled with women in their retinue or how long it took them to make their journey.

What we are told was that the family they were visiting in Bethlehem were, by the time of their visit, living in a house. The narrative does suggest that they arrived about two years after the child's birth. That is, I think, why they are usually part of the Epiphany narrative and not Christmas.

When it comes, Lou, have a good Christmas!

'Life of Brian' is my favourite version!

Terry Jones as Mary is the funniest thing I've ever seen

My fav lines:

'He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!'

'Your ARE the Messiah, I should know, I've followed a few!'

'Crucifixion? good, first on the left take 1 cross'.

'Welease Woderwick!'

'Albatross!'

Even thinking about it has me giggling uncontrollably... :D

:D. I think their best film was Holy Grail, but Life of Brian managed to be irreverant without being blasphemous.

Meaning of Life was an all time classic. We ought to run a poll for people to vote for their favourite Python film!
