Re: pre op
Pro op is usually blood pressure, urine test, heart check, weight and previous medical history - well it was for me anyway

Re: pre op
Cherishu
There is a recovery period after the op so until you have satisfactory vision corrected or not, I expect you will still be registerd blind.
I know you have waited a long time for this and we all wish a graft was a quick fix.
Hang on in there and good luck for the pre op, you know we will be here for you.

Re: pre op
Not sure exactly what will happen but it will be as Karl said.
I had some swabs taken from my eye aswell. I have my pre op tomorrow and have my graft in 2 weeks time.
I am also really nervous this time more than last. I have had real trouble sleeping and i'm sure my hair is falling out!!
But despite all that i am also very excited as my other graft has gone so well. I could notice a change in my eyesite a couple of days after the op. My vision wasn't any better but i had less gohsting wich makes everything seem clearer.
I hope all goes really well for you and i will be thinking of you. I know as a Mum with KC it is so hard to feel like you are doing a good job but once you have had that op and you have some usefull vision i think you will be really proud of yourself.
Good luck for Friday, stay calm and don't let that blood pressure rise!!!!

Just wanted to say good luck Cherishu and Anne.

Somebody complimented me on my driving yesterday - they left a note on my windscreen "Parking Fine" which was nice.
KC managed with softperm lens in left eye, Intacs (2/11/07) in right eye
