Good to know everything went OK.

PK is best, but only because I have had 2 now

They are really strong, they have meant I could pursue a carear working up chimneys, down the mines and sewers, on oil rigs, a case of where there was muck ther's brass

Just be sensible in what you do and you will be fine.

I'm back briefly, This laying down resting business is all rather dull. After sleeping all yesterday I am full of energy today.

As you read, I wasn't quite as fortunate in being able to read two lines. So for now until the next graft patient you record stands

Chimneys, mines, sewers? A whole new world has suddenly been open to me.

I think for the time being though, I'll give it a few days before I tackle the job pages of the local newspaper.

I wasn't really given the do's or donts as such. Just told to be careful about rubbing it and stuff, wear a shield at night and take things easy. Just be sensible really, take lots of rest and watch for light.

Thanks Sarah, I wish I could milk it but I get so restless. Doing anything even making a drink gives me something to occupy me.

I'm being good though and resting today, tomorrow I shall go for a 30 minute walk as a reward.

I lay in my bed and demand room service - worked well for a few days.....then once I had another stitch put in, obviously that is a very traumatic event and i was back to stage one...everyone soon got very bored with me.

So i was left to struggle on - nah im just downright lazy, so good on you for being so full energy

Awww, now that is unfair as you had good reason for the continued attention. May I ask why they put more stitches in

I'm doing great except I really hate eye drops. So much so I am having to ask someone else to drop them in for me as I flinch and miss my eye.

I can't wait until they become twice a day rather than 4 times as eye drop time seems to be coming around very quickly.

Still give me a week and I'll be a natural.

I'm finding light sensitivity a bit of an issue at the moment too. Moving into rooms with bright sunlight causes a sudden burst of pain.

I'm amazed that the light can go right through my sunglasses and a shut eyelid.

But for day 1 on the road to recovery I'm rather delighted, albeit slightly bored.

Oh and before I forget. The indoor moon test (Looking at the standby button on the tv) Before my operation I saw about 15-20 red lights. Now I see 2 close together.

Hopes for tomorrow..... To be able to keep my eye open for longer periods.
