What book do you use for reference or have on your shelf?

Moby Dick by Herman Melville. It has nothing to do with KC but it is one the best books ever written.

I can't read any of the hundreds of books on my shelves at the moment! So, like Andrew, has to be the WWW!

I could give you an answer similar to Matthew's but I won't.

When it comes to KC it has to be here. I have found out far more about KC since joining here than I did in all the twenty odd post diagnosis years prior to stumbling across place. :D

I absolutely agree with you Alison, although initially it freaked me out.

Joining this forum also encouraged me to use the www which for some reason I had neglected to do before.

This just goes to show that the board, its posters and the committee have achieved, what id suspect, were one of there core objectives when setting this site up...

Always good to hear comments like that from people Alison!

As I also say the same!..
KC is about facing the challenges it creates rather than accepting the problems it generates -

Sorry in a less flippant moment, I would say this forum too. I think you would need to spend several years in a medical library to discover the information, freely available on this site, let alone the human side which gets discussed openly here and is of enourmous value.
Must see someone about my RFS (random flippancy syndrome).

Nooooo! Don't do that. RFS rules! :P

I'm with you 100% on the human side of things. It's one thing to know facts about KC but quite another, and just as important, to be able to communicate with people who truly understand the impact KC can have on your life and outlook.

I have never read any books really about KC except for the booklet from our group. I think that this site and forum give us loads of information and support. The web is an excellent resource though that i use for everything!!! Life would be so much harder without it!!!
