Number of members living in Scotland
I have over 80 people on the membership list, of people who live in Scotland. There are over 1000 members of the National Keraoconus group. Most will probably have KC or will be a family member of a person with KC, or a professional working in a hospital with eye patients.
At a Scottish group meeting we usually have about 16-18 people there. Some people come along with family members, partners or a friend. You are welcome to bring somebody along with you. Most people are from the West of Scotland( because we meet in Glasgow) but we have people who regularly come from Dunfermline and Boness and Ross sometimes manges down from near Inverness. We have all ages from age 14 upwards.
As James says we are an informal group. Everybody is really friendly. We usually have a speaker first, then time for people to talk and share with one another. We also have tea or coffee.
Hope to see you on Saturday at the Scottish group meeting.(THe Strathclyde University Chaplaincy centre is oppposite the student Union building) Elizabeth

We had a good meeting
See you next time Theresa, probably in March.
We had a really good meeting. Pat Martin and Kay Walker from Visibility talked about Welfare benefits and answered our questions, then had private one to one discussions with anybody who wanted it.
There were about 20 people with there including new ones.
Those on the Scottish e-mail list should have received an e-mail with the notes that I took at the meeting.I always send my notes to everybody on the e-mail list so that they don't miss out completely, especially for the ones who have too far to travel to group meetings.
