Way to go, gareth!

Go out and buy yourself a new car to celebrate. Aston Martin DB6 should do it.

I think I will settle for the Mercedes CLK GTR, but to do that I would need a substantial injection of cash from the lottery or rob a bank!

May end up with a rear bumper and a set of switches for the Capri :D

Now that's what I call living the high life

There is only one small problem.

Mercedes do not even allow the VIP thing to test drive this car (one of only 25 made and 0km on the odometer). It is still up for sale at £666,666.00 which is a total reduction of £33,334 on the original price!

They have a roadster version (1 of 5 made with 37km on the odometer) for sale at a somewhat higher price than £850,000. The exact price they will not divulge :(

Jay,

In October at the NEC Classic Car Show they had the back to the future car on the Delorian Owners club stand (yup there is such a thing) and I got to sit in it.

Great to be reunited with an old friend :D

I remember when they came out...they thought the car would be such a massive success.....oh well!........ironically noe more and more cars are not adopting the doors opening mechanism!
