Unfortunately, Mike is only at no. 993 after I've deleted today's spammers.
Of these 993, only 783 (79%) have ever clicked on the link in their registration email, so they could also be (failed) spammers, or duplicate users.
Still, we're doing well - nearly 800 genuine people since we re-launched in March 2004!

We need to have a party when the official figure passes 1000. Problem is that we are all over the place and even the London social would fail to catch us all.
I shall lay in a little bag of twigletts and a bottle of pop so that when John announces "That's the 1000" I can do my bit here in the comfort of my own study.
