Calling all newbies

Postby Anne Klepacz » Mon 20 Mar 2006 9:56 pm

Just a reminder to all the newbies (UK based) who have recently joined this forum that as well as talking to all the wonderful stalwarts on this forum who are a mine of information and provide lots of TLC, you can also get various booklets and leaflets from the KC group by joining the postal mailing list. Available are:- a basic information booklet about keratoconus, accounts of 2 of the 3 conferences we've had which include talks from professionals about various aspects of KC and members' experiences (material from the 3rd conference last year is currently in preparation and will be sent to all mailing list members just as soon as it's available). There are also leaflets about KC for students which can be given to teachers/tutors and about KC at work which can be useful for employers (and all those other people who ask why you can't just wear your glasses!) Those can be printed off the main website, or we have hard copies available. So anyone wanting any of these, please e-mail me (anneklepacz@aol.com) or send me a PM.
Last but not least, welcome one and all!
(And hey, I go away for a few days, and there are 67 new posts on the forum to catch up on. Help!)

Hi Anne

I have printed off the employers leaflet just this morning and given it to my office manager who said it was very useful & helpful. Great resource as I am not so good at explaining it all!

Thanks

Emma :)
