Getting back on topic....
Well, it was good to get to an AGM for once! - and to "see" several of you, however briefly.
SOrry I had to slip out early - had managed to get confused with the time gap between the AGM and my next event and when I looked at how to get from one to the other, through enginerering work, oo-er.
Is it possible there could be a summary of the ameeting - or at least, of the talk - posted here? - notes rather than a full transcript, I mean?
I thought the talk was a good talk, but had too high a ratio of "What is KC?" to th genetics material - for an audience who know what KC is because we've got it, I mean. Maybe others differ?? - but was a tad disappointed not to hear more on the genetics.
I was very interested by the early comments that people get the same type of mis=shapenness in both eyes, and family members who both have KC have the same types of mis=shapenness, which made them think it was genetic, because an environmental cause wouldn't have lead to this similarity.
(By this, I mean the types of eye shape - pointy cone, droopy boob, big globe, etc)
Also that is seems to be more prevalent in Asians and progress more in Caribbeans.
