Hi,

Would like to introduce myself; I'm Gill and have had keratoconus for a year. Over the past three month my sight has deteriorated rapidly, I’am currently waiting on a 26wk list to see a specialist. I am glad to see there are groups like this to support people through such a frustrating time.

I hope you can come to the next Scottish group meeting. It is on the Saturday 28th February at Strathclyde University Chaplaincy centre, John Street, Glasgow(near George Square/Queen Street station). The speaker is Malcolm Louch, an optometrist and he will be speaking about "Hcontact lenses are made and how they work" which should be intereting. If you send me you e-mail details I can put you on the Scottish e-mail list to keep you up to date with what is happening in Scotland.
The next national KC conference is in Glasgow on the 20th June. Remember to put that date in your diary. We have 2 consultants booked for the conference and an optometrist. Hope to meet you at the next support group meeting soo. Elizabeth
