Welcome to the forum. The long wait for a first appointment is probably the worst bit of all this. In an emergency you could always just present at the eye casualty in Gartnavel Hospital. I guess that you are not seeing a hspital optometrist, they can always arrange a fast track to the ophthalmologist.
All the best

Hello
I was born and bred in Glasgow and still live and work in there now.
I sue people for a living (I work in a lawyer's office dealing with road traffic accidents on behalf of insurance companies - NOT an ambulance chaser!!)
I play guitar, love motorsports (speedway racing my favourite) and music is very important to me.

Hi! I am totally new on here, just wanted to say Hello! Am secretly pleased that I'm not alone in the world - but on the other hans, sorry there's others with poor eyes.
I was first diagnosed with KC about 6 years ago, and have been wearing RGP lenses ever since.
I'll keep this short for now,
Cheers
Jane

We also have an Scottish e-mail list so that people in Scotland can keep in touch.E-mail addresses are kept confidential.I forward anything that people want to share with others, plus dates when Scottish group meetings happen.(Please send me you e-mail details) Elizabeth
