Hi Lesley,

It was more a group disucssion to share experiences which I felt was really good. I learnt alot from one guy who gave up on lenses when he was told he neeeded a graft. He has not had the graft and copes extremely well as a partially sighted person.

Spoke to another person who has worn lenses for over 30 years for 12 hours plus each day and he acknowleded long wear times were bad and said he would try and re-educate his brain to be able to live life with less lens wear.

In a nut shell, we all shared experiences from a lens and graft point of view and I feel we all left having gaines something.

It was suggested the next event be a bit more of a social occasion.

Regards

Gareth
