There were 28 people at yesterday's meeting with the venue at John Lewis proving to be really popular, especially as it is so easy to get to. It was a very interactive session going over the incidence of KC, websites that help how to describe it, KC in the workplace and the positive help from Action for Blind People (now part of RNIB) as well as lots of exchanges of other experiences. It was also good to welcome so many people who attended a meeting for the first time and everyone felt it was worthwhile. The room is big enough for more people to attend so please make a note now of the next (and last for the year) meeting - Saturday October 7th at 11:00 - meetings generally last about 2 hours. This will also be at John Lewis and the subject details will be circulated nearer the time.
Thanks to everyone there.
John
